Sonny founded Sustainable Life Solutions and has set out on a mission to build the company’s general advice platform to help life risk advisers build a financially viable general advice business. He has established and built successful high-growth businesses throughout his career. With his experience, Sonny believes automation and technology can deliver accessible and affordable advice to everyone.

Daniel Kerkmez

Head of Operations

Daniel has over 20 years of extensive financial services experience and a profound understanding of the advice value chain. He has firsthand knowledge about navigating complex and highly regulated environments. Daniel has played a pivotal role in spearheading transformative initiatives, improving performance and driving operational efficiency. His expertise spans risk management, compliance, customer experience, and data analytics, all of which informs strategic decisions and optimises operational processes.

Matthew Wakefield

Head of Licensing & Sales

Matthew has a wealth of experience in life insurance and practice management. He has over three decades of experience in the industry and have made significant contributions to several leading insurers in Australia and successfully run his own real estate, mortgage broking and financial planning business in the UK. Matt’s extensive expertise and industry knowledge will be invaluable in achieving business goals, insight and guidance for partners and clients alike.

Anthony Dermer

Compliance Manager

With more than 15 years of experience as a qualified financial adviser, practice manager and business owner across a range of licenses, Anthony understands firsthand the daily challenges that advisers face in trying to run a profitable business while maintaining close client relationships and supports them in building stronger businesses.

Nicole Tasker

Adviser Support Manager

Nicole worked in the life risk industry for over a decade starting her own life insurance business that she managed for eight years before transitioning to an adviser support role over the last four years. She helps advisers manage their client relationships and provides them with support with all appointments, clients policies and application processes.

Belinda Mcleod

Compliance Analyst

Belinda provides valuable coaching and support to advisers, aiding them to meet licensing requirements, whilst effectively managing Sustainable Life Solutions internal audits and meticulously reviewing compliance frameworks. Belinda seamlessly integrates compliance initiatives, day-to-day operations and automated systems to cultivate a culture of compliance that protects all stakeholders and fosters trust and confidence between clients and their advisers.
